Borrowers can choose to have their reservations mailed to them instead of coming into the library to pick up the items.
Parameters control a delivery charge, a central library location for distribution.
Details are set on each borrower record.
Once all the parameters have been set up, staff can proceed to reserve items for borrowers who choose to have postal delivery as an option.
If borrowers choose not to have a particular reservation sent to them by post, leave the ‘Postal delivery’ option unchecked..
This is also available to borrowers who make reservations via OPAC.
When a postal delivery reservation is allocated (i.e. returned through Circulation), a postal delivery slip will be printed with the borrower’s address details for staff to use.
This is the order of which address will be printed on the Postal Delivery slip where applicable.
